Service Description

Your first consultation and its follow up appointment may be the most important dates you make in your journey towards excellent health. Naturopathic assessments and programming are lengthy to begin with, but the view is that you are worth it so we take the time to care. During your initial appointment we investigate your healthy journey so far, where its been and where it is taking you. We assess your current eating and routines around food, sleep hygiene and habits, energy assessments, iridology and blood pressures, pulses, tongue, skin and nail diagnoses - all where required and appropriate to do so. All of this information is collated with your patient form that you complete before your appointment and any test results you may have already had done, to help us pave a way forward towards your health goals. Sometimes there are a number of crucial steps we have to implement before the main results are seen - and there is a reason for this. Natural medicine observes this process and your Naturopath will guide you on this journey. By the end of your first appointment, you will have received an in clinic or an emailed (within 72 hours) program to get things started. It is common to review this program, your implementation and its efficacy, adapt where needed and press forward at your follow up appointment. Our clinical stats show that only 1-3% of appointments that are not followed up result in success...we like to increase these stats by encouraging that you attend this initial appointment's first follow up appointment. Even if you haven't been able to effectively implement everything we initially recommend, this appointment is crucial for establishing momentum and driving away old habits that have led you to this state of health in the first place. Naturopathic appointments are very different to your doctor's appointments. This is an opportunity to have a deep dive into your habits, your routines, your attitudes and your behaviours around how you care for your amazing body! This is your time to shine...and we have the spotlight ready for you! Please note, your first appointment includes 1 hour and 15 min clinic time, and a further hour of research, planning and programming/emailing time after you have left the appointment.
